One important concern for the design was to establish the connection between contemporary architecture and regional building traditions: the elongated building without edges and recesses with a relatively steep roof without eves as well as several formal and structural elements show a return to the house type of the Hallertau in western lower Bavaria.
The residential house in the north eastern part of the hillside gardens - moved away from high trees - and the separate garage buildings on the southern boundary constitute, together with a wall to the residential street, an open garden courtyard to the west, overlooking the town down to the valley.
